Plan is well modeled here on Kivalia. We've proxied many of the CIT (closed investment Trusts) with traded options managed by the same team and with similar expenses. I've left out one option - the U.S. Small-Mid Cap Active Equity Fund, as it is a commingled fund being managed by 4 investment teams in weights that aren't pre-specified...just hard to model. The decision to leave out this option is unlikely to negatively impact the quality of the recommendations provided here.

Plan is correct based on the company's 2019 form 5500 filing. Proxying the collective trusts with publicly traded investment options.

does the UNH 401K plan allow for direct stock investments?

From what we can tell, the UNH 401(K) plan DOES NOT offer UNH common stock as an investment option.
